The last post I made was about Charlie McDonnell last fucking year and I haven't done anything since AND I started this. I've been cheating on blogspot with tumblr and I'm ashamed. I also have a headache. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH problems.


BUT I start school in a few days and I actually get to TAKE ART CLASSES! SAY WHAT!!??

Also, I can't wait for this bag I ordered to come in the mail.

OH! And I can't wait for this sweet ass t-shirt to come in the mail either.

Indeed folks! I have passed my road test and am street legal!!! yay! School is just about killing me. Thank god for that snow day yesterday or else I would've been in huge trouble. Well, I still am. All the work that was due today (yesterday) still ain't done! woohoo for procrastination! Tomorrow (half day!) I have a speaking exam in Spanish and a test in AP Micro Economics, neither of which I am prepared for. So, now we wait!

Weekend update with Michael Lawrence

Ok so since my last post many things have happened. I've learned many new things on my guitar (have i mentioned it's got built-in recording software?) and Marlee had her birthday and I've gotten into many new things, not the least of which being ZZ Top and, surprisingly, a little Deadmau5. ANYWAY, I also started to get to know an awesome person, who although she's probobly one of the biggest theatre kids in the school (Marlee NOT A WORD. THEATRE KIDS AREN'T THAT DIFFERENT FROM ANY OF THE SUSPECTS), she's an awesome, awesome person who love Doctor Who and is a huge nerd and not afraid to admit it! (see? not that bad). AND! AND! AND! If I can sell my old accoustic, and I'm thinking about selling my electric too, I may be getting a ukelele from a friend of mine. And as a certain character in a certain movie I just saw all the way through, thayt's awll ah hayf tuh say abawt thayt.

Fuck you, fuck me, fuck ev-ery-bo-dy! Yeah!

This blog hasn't been updated in 11 days. Oh gosh. And the last blog was about Tron. Oh boy.
I'm so sorry.


So, what have I been doing these passed few (many, actually) days? Schoolwork. Homework. Oh, and a lot of stuff for school. AP Microeconomics is beginning to get confusing and Spanish is just getting more boring. I also haven't been able to get anything set up for selling. It'll happen eventually but not before Christmas, like I wanted. Oh well. 


HOWEVER!


I've recently learned how to play "Heart Of Gold" by Neil Young. Also, I've learned some other stuff we'll cover. How will we cover this you ask?


Well, I am currently typing this blog from none other than my brand new Macbook Pro!! FUCK YEAH!!!

We've got the equipment, peeps. Now we just need to find time to record some stuff and I'll have it mixed and mastered in no time! Don't worry, guys! We have everything under control!

oof. And TRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't updated here in a LONG time. I actually had to go back and check to see what color i was (pathetic). Anyway as you may know i am a HUGE fan of the band Daft Punk. I am also a nerd, so I was also excited when i found out about TRON: LEGACY. And then, knowing these two things, you can imagine my excitement about the fact that Daft Punk is doing the music to the new tron movie. Well then. Today the soundtrack THAT THEY WROTE was released. Oh and btw this music video too. (just an FYI your brain may explode from sheer AWESOMENESS.) So i downloaded the album on iTunes (i'd had it preordered for months) and i listened to it. Not too shabby. So that's that.

Charlie McDonnell

So Charlie McDonnell, love of my life, has a new album out. It's called "This is Me". You can listen to it FOR FREE here if you so desire. I bought a physical copy from DFTBA. It shipped yesterday and I cannot wait for it to arrive. He makes a Bo Burnham reference in the song "Hayley G Hoover" which is greatly appreciated.

C'mon, I know you're not disagreeing...
So how is everybody doin'? Let me just be honest. I have nothing fun to blog about. It needs to be updated sooo...
A'ight it turns out that I am going to be selling some stuffs! I need to make room and I need money, so I am selling a few personal belongings. Mainly, Guitar Hero stuff. I have both drum sets for GH and Rockband and I want them OUT. So, I'm gathering all (but my favorite guitar controller) musical instruments for these games. I have no use for them anymore. All the stuff I have is for PS2. LAME. So, I need to update stuff so I can still play my favorite game ever. (I only really want to get GH Warriors of Rock because Joan and Cherie Currie re-recorded "Cherry Bomb" for the game and I really want to play it but they don't make anything for PS2 anymore) (Thus the title of this blog) I am keeping GH I and II for PS2 and my Kramer Pacer that came with GH III. That's it. It'll be sad to see everything go, but I'll be so happy when I get all new stuff. Besides, new equipment is necessary for the recording studio sooo...
You'll be happy to know that Marlee and I know all the words to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. I was falling asleep on her bed while she was uploading pictures to her computer. She didn't want me falling asleep (didn't stop me) so she walked over and started singing, "Is this the real life, is this just fantasy..." I couldn't resist. I kept singing. I was awake. Damn. We finished of course. We even included the little "any way the wind blooooows" and then the crash (I'm pretty sure it's a gong) at the end. Pretty epic. I'm the spitting image of Brian May, I'm telling you.
